have to offer?
This library offers a diverse collection of books, DVDs, audio books, magazines, newspapers, CDs, and an digital collection, as well as access to a vast amount of materials through our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) programs via Central/Western Massachusetts Automated Resource Sharing (C/W MARS). We have several computers with internet and research databases, free WiFi, printer, and a copy machine. We have the distinction of being the "library with a view," with an expansive back lawn overlooking the hills. Both this area and our indoor community room host a wide range of programs for patrons of all ages.
Art Exhibit: Winter Light, an exhibit of beautiful handmade paper scrolls, prints, sculpture, and lanterns by local artist Sheryl Jaffe, on view downstairs in the Muse Café.
Exhibit Dates: January 8 - March 24, Mon: 10-5, Tu: 1-8, Wed: 1-8, Sat: 10-3
Reception: Saturday January 27, 1-3pm
is housed in the downstairs Robert M. Duda Community Room and is open for use whenever the library is open and there is not an event or meeting taking place. This cafe is a cozy, welcoming place to use as a work space, chat with friends, use our wifi, read, play board games (we have them), or make things (we have arts and crafts supplies). The Muse hosts occasional pop-up coffee shops (check calendar), where you will find fresh coffee, homemade baked goods, and live background music. Come on down!
The library is always looking for volunteers! If you are interested please contact Candace Bradbury-Carlin.
