Food for Fines Day

If overdue fines are keeping you from using the Whately Public Library, this is your lucky day! Pay your fines with donations of canned food, therefore helping our neighbors in need. Canned food donated at the library goes to the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts. Each can donated at the front desk will waive one dollar in fines. Please bring only new, unopened cans within expiration date. Charges for lost or damaged items cannot be waived. And if you don't owe fines, you can still help out with a donation of canned food.
