Pop-up Coffee Shop!

The library has transformed its downstairs meeting room to a Multipurpose Café (we are taking suggestions for the café name). There are various size café tables and comfy chairs, with ambient lighting for a welcoming space. In this space – whenever the library is open and isn’t hosting an event – people can come down to sit and chat with friends, do work, use their device using our WiFi, read a book or magazine, play one of our many board games, or work on an art or craft project with our supplies. Additionally, this fall we are going to have our first Pop-up Coffee Shop in this space on Saturday September 30, which will include self-serve coffee, baked goods and some kind of live or recorded background music. We will request a suggested donation. If it is popular we will continue it on occasion – hence the term “pop-up.”
