Foothills Health District

Overview of the Foothills Health District

The Foothills Health District is a quasi-governmental, formal, tax-exempt organization formed in 1986, whose main objective is sharing of personnel resources. One full time employee, the Foothills Health Agent, currently serves the four member towns Boards of Health: Goshen, Westhampton, Williamsburg, and Whately.

The Foothills Health District Office / Williamsburg Board of Health Office is located in the Williamsburg Town Hall, Second Floor, 141 Main St. Haydenville. (Please do not mail anything to the street address, all mail should go to the PO Box address ).

Twelve Board Members, three elected Board of Health officers from each town, govern the District through regular meetings.
