Use of Library Facilities

The Community Room 

The Community Room may be reserved for educational, cultural or charitable activities on a first come first serve basis during normal library hours and at other times subject to staff availability.  The room seats roughly 30 and there is a small kitchen.  

Reservations must be made at least one month in advance and will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. 

Fees:
        Education and Cultural with no admission charge:  no fee.
        Education and Cultural with admission charge or fund-raiser: 
                            Civic groups or individuals:     $10
                            Non-profit groups:                   $20
                          

The library reserves the right to charge an additional fee to cover utilities and custodial services for an event outside normal library hours.

Howard Hoxie Memorial Gazebo

The beautiful Hoxie Memorial Gazebo is also available for events.  It is free for Whately residents, although donations are welcome.  The non-resident fee is $100.

 

All applicants for use of library facilities must agree to abide by the regulations established for their use.
