Friends of the Whately Library is an organization founded to support activities within the library. Activities include an annual book sale, fundraising for the summer reading program, talks and special events, and support for Patron Appreciation Month.

The board usually meets on the first Wednesday of the month, when all are welcome. 

Another way to show support is by becoming a member through tax-deductible contributions.  Checks are payable to the Friends of the Whately Library and may be sent to PO Box 187, Whately MA 01093.
